Nancy Bean
Nancy has 20 years’ experience in banking with most of that time spent working as a Trust Officer and Client Advisor for people with significant wealth, trust beneficiaries who sometimes had very limited means and everyone in between. She holds the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation, which requires continuing education in trust and estate administration, tax, insurance and financial planning. In addition, Nancy is a member of the American Association of Professional Daily Money Managers, which requires its members to pass a thorough background check and adhere to strict ethical standards of practice.
Nancy is particularly passionate about serving seniors and people with special needs including those with mental illness, physical disabilities, cognitive disorders and addiction. While in college, she became a member of the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI), an organization dedicated to providing support, education, advocacy and research about mental illness to individuals and their families. She became a certified support group facilitator and trainer, and later served as Director of Education for NAMI Fort Wayne. This experience has proven invaluable in her work with families. She has the education and understanding to deal with difficult situations in a compassionate and clear way.
Nancy serves on the board of the Michiana Estate Planning Council and is a member of the Elkhart County Estate Planning Council. In addition, Nancy serves on the boards of Mental Health Awareness of Michiana and the Humane Society of Elkhart County. Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Nancy moved to Mishawaka in 2016 and serves clients in St. Joseph County, Elkhart County, Kosciusko County, Whitley County and Allen County.
